Learning Codex CLI
Notes on using Codex, OpenAI's agentic coding tool (terminal CLI) — from the basics to the latest feature updates.
I started using Codex alongside Claude Code in May 2026. As I write this in June, it's only been a month. The basics are close enough to Claude Code that I picked it up quickly, but it clearly has a character of its own — its own strengths and trade-offs.
I'll keep using it myself and pass along the features and news I find useful.
